Allergic Asthma : Complication & Treatment
Allergic Asthma is a kind of asthma that is caused by an allergic reaction. Allergic Asthma is reported due to the exposure of different kind of allergens like

2)Animal Dander from their hair, skin and saliva
3)Mold
4)Dust Mites
Etc.
Even sometimes
1)Cigarette smoke
2)Strong odor
3)A different air pollutant is also responsible for this allergic asthma.
Symptoms of allergic asthma :
The symptoms of allergic asthma are as follows:
1)Coughing
2)Shortness of breath
3)Wheezing
4)Rapid Breathing
Along with this symptom, the patient may even suffer from hay fever or skin allergies.
Itchy skin, rash, running nose, itchy eyes, watery eyes, congestion, etc are the common symptoms of skin allergy. In this situation, the patient must consult an ENT specialist.
Complication:
Sometimes allergic asthma becomes very much fatal and it has serious complications like:
1)Facial swelling
2)difficulty in swallowing
3)cough
4)anxiety
5)fainting
6)diarrhea etc.
This type of allergic asthma is termed anaphylaxis. This is a serious version of allergic asthma. It should be treated by proper medical care otherwise it can be life-threatening. Untreated anaphylaxis can lead to cardiac arrest and pulmonary arrest. So if you notice any symptoms of anaphylaxis immediately contact an ENT doctor and get treated.
Treatment :
Sometimes allergic asthma becomes so serious that it requires proper medical treatment. One should get treated by an ENT specialist. Skin prick test is the most common treatment of allergic asthma but there are several more tests like spirometry, peak flow, etc are also available. Prevention :
Though it is not possible to prevent allergic asthma always less exposure to the allergens may help. One should avoid those items which trigger several symptoms of the disease. Thus it can be maintained to some extent.
